According to the statement, the event is designed for industry professionals to showcase their products and services, and at the same time, improve their knowledge and skills.
During the exhibition, industry professionals connected with producers, importers, and baristas, with the purpose of forming new commercial relationships with coffee buyers and sellers from different countries.
ProDominicana coordinates the participation of the coffee sector so that coffee industry professionals can exhibit their products and services to the US market.
The Dominican delegation was represented by the national network manager, Francisco Peña, the international business executive, Raiza Rodríguez, both from ProDominicana, and the executive director of the Dominican Coffee Institute, Leónidas Batista Díaz.
Peña indicated that the US market is one of the largest consumers in the world and presents many opportunities for Dominican coffee.
